That is the number of reported homicides in this country so far, and it is just August. Who is to blame? Is it the government because laws are not enforced in this country? Is is the parents who do not discipline their children? Is it the Christian Council or even the "christian people" who are reactionary and turn a blind eye to what is going on in this country? Is it the Privy Council, is it the Defence force, is it the RBPF, is it the RBDF, who is responsible?

Downtown Cleanup Program
Its amazing that its going to take a Pageant to cause Bahamians (and the government) to finally clean up downtown. Everyday thousands of tourist come to The Bahamas as sees how dirty it is but now because of one event we are finally getting our act together. Its almost like saying to each of the thousands of guest that arrive to our shores each day and to the many Bahamians that frequent the downtown area each day

Freedom Of Information Act
The public has been begging for it. Journalists have demanded it. Is there real freedom of speech in the Bahamas. Think about it our top media outlets seem to be influenced heavily by the major political parties. So depending on which news outlet you get your information from, you are being fed political propaganda. When will our media truly be free in the Bahamas? When will we have real investigative reports where it dont matter whose toes get mashed, the truth is exposed.
